Mercy rule ahead of them, Mitchell Davis, catcher, scores a run during the varsity baseball game against Northwest, April 10. “I love that baseball is such a team sport,” Davis said. “I love being able to just go out there and play the game. This year, we are a lot closer than in years past. Because we have that unity, we are able to communicate well and work together better. The players are some of my closest friends.” The Wildcats won, 11-3. The Wildcats have only lost 1 game of 12 so far this season.

Regan Peterson, photo editor

This is Peterson’s third year on the Eurekana staff where she serves as the photo editor for all staffs. One word to describe her: eccentric. Conversation she wants to have with the world: “I would like everyone to know that life is not as hard as it seems and to remember to keep on keeping on, no matter if it is a sprint or slow crawl.”  Peterson is involved in FCA, French Club, SWAT, and Field Hockey at Eureka. She also enjoys taking photos and going on “mad adventures” with her friends. Dream job: “I want to be a photo journalist, move to Bhutan or another small country and report there. Kaylee Todd, Eurekana yearbook assistant production editor

This is Todd’s second year on Eurekana staff. Todd serves as the assistant production editor for the Eurekana 2018.  Word that describes her: different. Conversation she wants to have the world: “People are so quick to make assumptions prior to actually knowing the person. And I wish there was a way we wouldn’t allow these judgments to effect relationships with one another.” Todd is involved with FCA, HOSA, SWAT, and E!Crew, and plays softball as well. She also enjoys going to youth group, drawing, writing, kickboxing, and binge-watching Netflix. Lily Dean, Eurekana yearbook production editor

This is Dean’s fourth year on staff where she serves as the production editor for Eurekana. Word that describes her: Distinctive.  Conversation she wants to have with the world: “Can we please take a break? I’m really tired.” Her hobbies include photography, making to-do lists and designing spreads for the Yearbook. Katelyn Muszalski, Eurekana staff

This is Muszalski’s first semester on Sports Center staff for both the EHS-hub and the Eurekana. Her job is to record scores and schedules for all EHS games. Her hobbies include writing, walking her dog, and hanging out with friends. She is also a manager for Varsity Girls Basketball. Word that describe her: persistent. Conversation she wants to have with the world: “Be kind and understanding with everyone.” Her dream job is to be an understanding teacher.

Brandon Shipley, Video Production

This is Shipley’s first year on Hub where he serves as a producer for video production. One word to describe him: spontaneous. Shipley is involved with Eureka football, baseball, basketball and Best Buddies at Eureka. Outside of school he also enjoys soccer, to film, edit, make cinematic sequences, and do photography in his free time. Conversation he wants to have with the world: “I would say we need to look at the world differently. We need to accept everyone and fix our problems all together as one whole world.” Dream job: “I want to go to L.A and make films for people either on Youtube or whatever other social media platforms people use.”
